I talk in a certain online chat at work. When my supervisor is around, I keep the chat minimized, type the message in notepad, copy it and paste it in the chatbox quickly, then re-minimize it.
The context isn’t really important, however I wrote out, “Like a sock, for your balls.” in notepad, and copied it to paste it to the chatbox. I had to take a call, got distracted, and forgot what I had copied. After the call was done, I went to enter system notes in the document on the computer, and accidentally pressed the button I had bound to “Paste, Save, Exit”. After notes are saved, they cannot be deleted or edited…
Well now I’m stuck with explaining why the profile note reads only “Like a sock, for your balls.” To both my manager and the 4-million-dollars-a-year client..
Oh well, it’s not as bad as when I did the same thing, but with a link to a picture of dragons having sex with cars…
Our first part of the scout update has been announced, called “The Sandman”.
Replacing our beloved bat and double jump, we instead get the ability to use our melee weapon at a range, hitting a ball with our new wooden bat, and having it clonk our enemies to temporarily stun them. The longer the drive, the longer they are frozen.
While this is a new aspect, I am not sure if it’ll play out in a positive way with our beloved Scout.
When this comes out, I’ll be sure to try the Sandman, but I’ll bet I’ll stick to my double jumping and classic bat.
Ok so I had a hell of a weekend recently. Here I go…
Some friends and I booked a campsite for the long weekend. The best campgrounds in this area for the may 24 weekend. We spent about a month planning this trip out and making sure everything was going to run smoothely. This weekend is a dry weekend (no alcohol) at all the provincial camp grounds, so we had to sneak our booze in, which we did successfuly.
After finding out capsite, pulling everything out of the van, and setting up our tent. Our one friend decided she’d have her boyfriend come visit us. This guy is the epitome of “poor life choices”… He tends to fuck up, A LOT! Well within 20 minutes of arriving, he decided he’d go to the washroom, and take his beer with him. Well he got caught, told the cops he was staying with us, and got us all kicked out. Our 3 day weekend, completely fucked. We were the first ones of the entire weekend to get kicked out.
We went back to my friends place for the night, rode out our hangovers and booked a new site the next morning. Our weekend was not going to be ruined by Mr. Douchebag. The weekend was pretty uneventful other than the fact that I threw a can of hairspray in the campfire, it exploded in my friends face, scattered hot coals all over the campsite, melting hundreds of holes in our tent, my sleeping bag, and ultimately destroying my air matress leaving me to sleep on the hard ground all weekend. Other than that and the fact that I got mild alcohol and food poisoning, I had a pretty solid weekend…
Thats all I got for now, I’ll update later when somehting actually funny happens in my life.

I’ve got a funny story for you, but first I need to explain that I probably drive the shitiest looking car in all of lower Ontario. It’s a 1994 rusted out white cavalier with an aluminum spoiler on the back that’s raised up about 1.5ft so i can’t even see out the rear window. I get a lot of laughs, funny looks, and assholes making fun of my car… Anyways, I finally decided to stick up for my sweet car. Here’s how it went:
So on my way to work I was stopped at a red light. It was raining a little bit so my windows were up. Some meathead douche in an old camaro pulled up next to me with what seemed to be a wooly mammoth in the passenger seat. He signals for me to roll down the window, I do so reluctantly. He then proceeded to tell me how stupid my car looks, and continues on insulting my ride. For the most part I agree with him, but you don’t just pull up to someone and start raggin on their wheels… My reply to him was along the lines of
“I may be driving a shitty car, but at least I’m not fucking whatever kind of animal it is riding in your passenger seat.”
The passenger took a second to realize I was, in fact, talking about her. Immediate after her brutal realization, she retaliated by throwing her x-tra large triple thick chocolate milkshake at me. Thankfully McDonalds makes fucking awesome lids, because I made a sweet catch, without making any mess. I then grinned at the heffalump, removed the lid, and threw the shake right in her lap, and all over the interior of the stupid mid eighties camaro. Just as both the driver and the passenger started to get out of the car, the light turned green and I took off as fast as I possibly could, took a quick left and proceeded to work.
Now I’m at work and pretty much hating life. Hopefully that put a smile on your face.

I don’t have time these day to play as much as I’d like to, so I’ve pretty much lost touch with the entire community. We get about 100 hits daily and were getting upwards of 500 daily when we were actively blogging.
If anyone is interested write me an email. There’s nothing to it really, just write shit.

My first post for a while, and seeing as there has not been alot of updates and changes in TF2 recently I thought I’d post a config that I’ved used for a very long time which improves the detail quality on TF2 MUCH higher than the maximum options settings. It only affects your FPS by about 10frames.
All you need to do is put these in your autoexec.cfg file in your steamapps\team fortress\tf\cfg folder.

mp_usehwmmodels 1
mp_usehwmvcds 1
cl_new_impact_effects 1
cl_burninggibs 1

Hey guys and gals. I’m sorry about the lack of updates lately but I’ve been really busy working on a league for Left 4 Dead (www.l4dl.com). I’ll be back in no time though.
